| Saturday 18th October saw the ladies from Amazon Heart Thunder Ride arrive at the Harley Davidson Cheltenham dealership. HDC provided plenty of nurishment in the form of chocolate cakes & donuts with drinks from the multi-choice machine. When required for the photo shoot the ladies had to be dragged down from the clothing department & captured on the stairs. For their onward journey to Stratford the Rolling Hills Chapter provided an escort party which then made a total of 50 bikes leaving the dealership. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

AMAZON HEART THUNDER RIDE Report by Joan Wakeham Arrived at Cheltenham HD at around 8.30 to escort the Ladies Amazon Heart Thunder Ride from Cheltenham to Chipping Camden. There was a good turn out at the Dealership to see us set off, and about 35 bikes joined the escort. We rode from the Dealers to Chipping Camden through the Cotswolds, where we met up with our Police Escorts who arrived on two Harley Davidson Road Kings. We were safely escorted by them to William Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford upon Avon, where we parked up right outside the Cottage in the pedestrian zone. We had plenty of time for coffee and buns before setting off again with our Police outriders, for a final blast down the Fosseway to Stow on the Wold. |
